What experience and qualifications will the tradesmen working on my renovation have?

The company has over 20 years experience in the building industry. Our lead fitter is a qualified architect and has various qualifications within the building industry. Our team are all fully qualified in their own areas and have at least one years experience working on site.

What if my renovation requires planning or intervention from building control?

We will inform you about anything to do with planning and building control. We have a lot of experience working with councils to make sure that all of the work undertaken complies with current regulations.

Procurement of sub-contractors?

We have a vast network of sub-contractors that work with us, should your job require a trades person with a skill set we can not provide in house we can procure them on your behalf. Alternatively if you prefer to use your own trades people we are happy to work with them.

Am I expected to get rid of any waste?

We can arrange the disposal of any waste from your renovation but this is to be agreed with the customer.

What if something goes wrong?

Should anything going wrong we are fully insured by means of a multi-trade policy, this covers everything from your property, contents and person. As we said we have 20+ years experience and have only had to rely on our insurance once. This is available for you to see should you wish.

Do you offer a guarentee?

All our work is guaranteed for 12 months and we will always rectify anything that is wrong due to our workmaship.

Will my home be in a useable state throughout my renovation?

We can not garantee this, however we will work with you to leave your home in a state that is agreeable to everyone involved. We always use dustsheets in order to keep your home as clean as possibe and where bathrooms are involved we will never leave you with out sanitary facilities.

Do you carry any trade accreditations?

We are currently working with CHAS (contractors health and safety) in order to become accredited. This entails a strict verification of all Health and safety policies, procedures and risk asessments to make sure we work safely not just for our employees but to keep you safe also. We have also been independatly vetted by My Builder to make sure our work is of a good standard and that our customers are left happy.

What are your payment terms?

Given that you are happy with your quote we will ask for a deposit to book a date for us to commence your work. On smaller jobs we will invoice the remaining balance on completion and on larger renovations we will put a payment plan in place prior to commencing your works. This will mean that you will pay us an agreed amount on completion of set stages. We find this gives all parties involved a little extra piece of mind.
